Critical analysis of the course

This course was very useful for me because it gave me the opportunity to deepen some aspects and the potential of some work tools that I already knew and to know new tools, all really useful for research purposes.
I found the digital identity module interesting, thanks to which I created a digital research identity with a professional profile.
Orcid is good for the univocal identification of researchers, it solves the problem of homonyms, it also favors the dissemination of publications and the process of scientific discovery.
About me is a web service that allows you to create a personal website, as a business card that allows you to publish our identity on the net on a single page.
Google Scholar is a good search engine that allows you to identify academic literature texts such as peer-reviewed articles, degree and doctoral theses, books, pre-presses, summaries, reviews and technical reports from all sectors of scientific and technological research.
Very interesting is the discovery of the blog tool for scientific dissemination for the connection between professionals and the promotion of one's work towards a large audience.
Blogs represent a good opportunity for dissemination, to arouse curiosity, open the door of science to those who have not had the good fortune to deepen some topics reaching the general public by transmitting useful advice, news and insights in an easily understandable language.
Feedly allows you to quickly organize and access all the news and updates of the blog, the contents, the insights about the areas of my interest that saves time without having to examine all the news sources one by one.
Diigo is also a good tool that allows you to create web bookmarks, post-it notepad, archive of images and documents and texts in the foreground. It is also useful for creating groups (public or private) to share favorite links.
Google Drive is a tool that I often use to share workbooks, text documents and spreadsheets, it offers the possibility of having a document saved on the network and being able to view and edit it from any device, anytime and wherever you are. Its most important feature is its collaborative working ability, through which multiple people are able to work together on the same document.
Regarding social media I consider social media services for researchers to be a valuable tool for expanding the communication of the scientific community and access to research results. Social networks are platforms that allow aggregation, the creation of contact networks and the sharing of news and information in multiple formats: texts, images, audio and video material, a virtual place "where to exchange and discuss ideas and create new collaborations. With these tools, the user can create a profile with which to share information, materials, publications and discuss problems relevant to their scientific community and professional growth.
ResearchGate is a social network dedicated to all scientific disciplines. The platform offers keyword research, file sharing, the possibility of making your texts, forums, group discussions in the Topics available online.
Twitter is the most used tool for microblogging that allows users to send and receive short public messages. It gives the possibility to follow other people and to build an instant channel. Topics of interest that can be both academic and personal can be customized. It represents a way to give visibility to research, reflections etc.
Hootsuite allows you to simultaneously check multiple profiles on different social media, allows you to easily find, manage and share engaging content on various social media, to follow the most interesting topics and respond in a timely manner and to monitor the impact of your business on different social media. average
With Symbaloo it is a virtual desktop where we can organize all the websites that interest us or that are useful for our research and / or work. Likewise, this tool allows you to configure our personal learning environment (PLE).
This course was a real surprise for how it was structured and for its contents. I found the tools proposed and explained very clearly very interesting, I was able to appreciate the usefulness of each of them. I believe that I will continue to deepen the use of these tools that will surely facilitate my research and its dissemination.
